MotaWord May 2014 NYC Translators Happy Hour

We know that MotaWord is the fastest human translation platform.

We emphasize MotaWord’s human component - as the dedicated work of our translator community is what makes our vision for collaborative translation possible.

While we are a cloud-based platform, this week we met up with translators at the Galway Pub in New York for a collaborative meeting - which translates into ‘party’ in layman’s terms.

We had a fantastic time mingling with members of the New York translation community, sharing experiences in the industry and talking about how MotaWord can help one focus simply on their best translations rather than the common hurdles that translators face.

We met with over 20 translators, telling them about our collaborative translation platform, and putting a face behind what they perceive as an online platform.

It was also great to receive their feedback in person, especially their praise for our payment terms of 15 days after a project is completed. They informed us that not having to submit invoices for projects they worked on, not having to follow-up on payments of monies due to them and not being bogged down by deadlines are a huge draw for them.

Italian, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, German, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Hungarian, Turkish, Japanese were all represented. We hope to have more of these meetings in different cities across the US and the world. We know we cannot meet all of our translators, but we will certainly try to meet most of them.
