Our Online Community Manager will be responsible for growing our online community, staying in touch with our translator base to keep them engaged and executing social media campaigns geared towards lead generation for MotaWord. A strong understanding of social advertising, campaigns and community management is a must. The role is ideal for a creative person who also knows how to be analytical, empathetic, and fun.

MotaWord effectively combines the efforts of over 9,000 top linguists from around the globe. Our translators work simultaneously on the same project while being coordinated efficiently through a smart back end. Our clients can monitor the progress and quality of their translations in real time – an offering that is unique in our industry. Translators use shared resources like glossary, translation engine and memory while MotaWord handles all the administrative tasks that would otherwise waste time.

Each and every MotaWord translator is pre-screened, pre-tested and pre-approved by Lead translators and their performance is tracked over time. Each project is checked by an editor before delivery. At MotaWord, we decided to share all the benefits of our productivity-enhancing technology with our clients. MotaWord pricing is simple - 14¢ per word - regardless of language translated. This is just a fraction of what a traditional translation agency would charge. Our deadline approach is even simpler - as fast as possible.

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Manage the MotaWord social media channels incuding Facebook, Twitter, LInkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram and Google+
  • Build the MotaWord social media audience, and consistently deliver our voice and brand
  • Develop and execute paid social media campaigns, with an emphasis on lead generation and audience growth
  • Monitor and engage on social media channels
  • Report back on social media metrics and insights to greater marketing team on a weekly basis
  • Create and maintain the MotaWord blog

Candidate Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree from an accredited college university
  • 1-2 years experience with community management, social engagement and influencer outreach, and paid social advertising (ie, Facebook Power Editor, LinkedIn Sponsored Updates)
  • Experience with social media management software including Hootsuite, Chartbeat, TweetDeck, Radian6/Buddy Media
  • Strong copywriting and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • A demonstrated expertise in social spaces and a proven ability to leverage in marketing and advertising
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Ability to think quickly and react on social platforms in real-time
  • Passionate about content marketing, social media, advertising and digital media trends
