Register a new developer account and start using the MotaWord Translation API.
That is the easy part. Just register as a developer and create your first application to interact with our translation API. Applications act like users. They give you a client ID and a client secret key, so you can be authorized to access the API. Want to use a Drupal plugin? Just select Drupal application while registering your new application.
Authorization Tool:
With the Authorization Tool, you can retrieve a temporary access token to test our API. Just choose your application and submit. You will also receive a custom documentation link, preconfigured with your access token, so you can experiment with the API easily.

You need to create an application in your developer account. Each application gives you a client ID and client secret key. Use these to get an access token through the Authorization Tool.
Yes. You can use the Authorization Tool to generate a temporary token. You also get a custom documentation link preconfigured with your token, so you can make test calls.
We provide official SDKs for PHP and Python, and a Ruby SDK created by Bonusly. You can install PHP with Composer, Python with pip, and find Ruby on GitHub. For other languages, use the Swagger definition to generate SDKs with swagger-codegen or Apimatic.
Yes. We provide Drupal and WordPress plugins. During setup, you can register your application as a Drupal app for Drupal or a WordPress app for WordPress to connect immediately. For other CMS integrations, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist.
The API is designed to handle high-volume requests. All API clients have a daily request limit of 2,000. For all requests regarding an increase of this limit, please send an email to info@motaword.com.
